About the Illinois Division

When you join a local Chapter or become a Division Member-at-Large, you automatically become a member of a Division and a District. Chapters report to and receive information from the Division level and Divisions report to and receive information from the District level.

IAAP is divided into six geographical districts: Great Lakes, Northwest, Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, and Canada. Each District has a District Director who serves on the International Board of Directors and is elected by the membership from their respective district. The District Director is responsible for all administrative matters related to the functioning of their respective district.

GlobeWithin the Districts are Divisions. Divisions act as liaisons between Chapters and the International Board of Directors.

Over 750 members from 21 professional chapters throughout Illinois are experiencing the benefits of membership in IAAP. The Illinois Division is one of five divisions in the Great Lakes District. Our purpose is to provide education and training, leadership development and networking opportunities for our members. The Division and local chapters host a variety of seminars, conferences and certification reviews classes throughout the year.
